Manhay Farm Events
Manhay farm's history dates back to the 1600's both as farm and a joining tin mine. Clare and Gavin Pruen brought the farm after 2006 after being empty for three years. It has been lovingly and sympathetically restored, keeping as many as the original features as possible. In 2014 a disused animal enclosure and hay loft was converted in the The Bijou, the perfect cosy getaway for a romantic break. In 2017 Clare and Gavin converted and moved into another cottage on the property making the farmhouse available for self catering holidays. After Clare and her daughter Tess had both there weddings respectably on the farm, there were several enquiries to hire for events. So we have decided to throw open the doors of manhay farm to visitors and guests near and far to share its charm, romance and natural beauty.
Manhay farm is quoted as being used as a beacon on the summer solstice for unmarried maidens looking for love- Marian Green (In the Harvest of Festivals)
